Bridges
Cross every connection once
Stars may be visited again and again, but no bridge twice. Parallel bridges and dead ends make you think a few moves ahead. The rule goes back to Euler and the Seven Bridges of Königsberg.
Puzzle game for iPhone
Guide a glowing aura across sleeping star networks. Cross every bridge, or visit every star, and watch the sky wake up behind you.
Free to download for iPhone with iOS 16 or later. No ads, no subscription.
Every level is a small network of stars. Your aura waits on the first one, and you draw its route with one finger. Which rule applies depends on the mode.
Bridges
Stars may be visited again and again, but no bridge twice. Parallel bridges and dead ends make you think a few moves ahead. The rule goes back to Euler and the Seven Bridges of Königsberg.
Starwalk
Now the stars count, not the bridges. Use any connection you like, but never step on the same star twice. The rule comes from Hamilton's Icosian game, and a knight's tour follows it too.
Each mode starts with a short tutorial of 15 levels that introduces one idea at a time. After that, the sky opens up.
Star Atlas
Ten chapters: polygons, star polygons, lattices, tilings, rosettes, knots, spirals, fractals, solids and a final chapter of masterworks, sorted by how hard they really play.
In seven habitats, from forest to farm. Solve a level and the animal it was drawn from appears in gold, then takes its place on your sky map. The real sky has animals too: here are all its animal constellations.
One new puzzle a day, the same for everyone, plus freshly generated networks in several levels of difficulty whenever you want more.
No clock is running and nothing punishes a wrong turn. Take back a move, try another route, or come back tomorrow.
No ads, no subscription, no loot boxes and no paid hints. One optional purchase, once.

In Bridges you have to cross every connection exactly once, and you may pass through a star as often as you like. In Starwalk you have to visit every star exactly once, and you choose which connections to use. The same network can be easy in one mode and hard in the other.
It is the same idea. In 1735 Leonhard Euler showed that nobody can walk through Königsberg crossing each of its seven bridges exactly once, because all four parts of the city touch an odd number of bridges, and a walk like that can have at most two such places: where it starts and where it ends. Every level in Between Stars is checked by a solver before it ships, so unlike Königsberg, each one has a solution.
In 1856 the mathematician William Rowan Hamilton invented the Icosian game: find a round trip along the edges of a dodecahedron that visits each of its 20 corners exactly once. A London toy maker sold it from 1859. Such routes are now called Hamiltonian paths, and one Star Atlas level is a tribute to Hamilton's puzzle.
No. There is no sign-up and the game plays fully offline. If you are signed in to iCloud, your progress syncs between your devices, and if you use Game Center, your achievements are recorded there.
Yes, as often as you like, and you can restart any level. There are no timers, no lives and no penalties. A puzzle you have started always stays playable, even after the daily limit for Random puzzles is reached.
